Mission Statement
First Lady Michelle L. LaMarr
First Lady Michelle L. LaMarr is an
anointed woman called
by God. Born and Raised in Columbus, Ohio. One of two sibling
born to Patricia Bogan. Lady LaMarr 1981 graduate of
Columbus South High and Career Center with a Focus on
Financial Office Management. Employed with Teacher Credit
Union, Big Bear Store Payroll Department, W.C. Brauch
Busing Company, Credit Bureau of Columbus, Columbus City
School in Transportation, and is presently the Payroll
Specialist for Franklin County Municipal Clerk of Courts.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to
Pastor F.V. LaMarr in
1984. It was in 1997 that she gave birth to their only child Micahya
Danyell. Which is the same year and month that they accepted the servant
leadership of Family Missionary Baptist Church.
She actively join the Baptist Minister’s Wives
and Minister’s Widow, She’s also received studies in the office of a Minister
Wife through the National Baptist Convention. In serving along side her husband
she Leading the Women Ministry, Minister’s Wives and Deaconess, Directs the
Young Ladies Drill Team, she herals with many hats leading the Women Feast of
Tables, Red Hat Ministry, Breast Cancer Support, 60 minutes at the Sepulcher,
along with numerous bus extravaganza and excursions. She’s an advocate for her
community and youth with a firm belief that through constant prayer,
teaching and the hearing of Gods word lives are truly changed.
As it’s often stated, “Behind every good man, there is a good woman.” Likewise, behind every good preacher, you will discover a praying first lady, who embraces, encourages, and engage him to become all that God has purposed for him in serving the body of Christ. Family Missionary Baptist Church is very blessed for this butterfly of a lady with her graceful smile and calm personality, influence the lives of many relatives, friends, church members throughout our community - - - a woman we call blessed.
